PGA Professional

Matt is a fully Qualified PGA professional after studying for his degree at Birmingham university. He has been a member of the Hampshire PGA and England’s South region since turning pro in 2013.

Matt was a former under 18 Hampshire golf county captain and also played at the under 21 level.

He was once a student at Brokenhurst college where he represented the golf team and won the English college championship at the age of 17.

He played his amateur golf at local clubs such as Barton on sea, Burley and Brokenhurst Manor. He has won numerous club events and was also club champion multiple times.

Pursuing his golfing career at the age of 18 he was offered a scholarship in the United States of America where he played for 4 years at Northeastern Oklahoma state university.

Once completing his first degree alongside playing collegiate golf in the states, he came back to the uk to turn pro and that’s when he realised his passion for coaching and other PGA responsibilities.

As a professional Matt has completed his PGA training at Brokenhurst Manor and successfully competed at professional level by placing in many local events with his biggest achievement to date winning the Brokenhurst Manor pro am.
